[origin: WO2020188201A1] The present invention relates to a device (1) for controlling a vehicle which is designed to travel in a two-dimensional environment, comprising a gripping tool (2) capable of travelling independently in translation and in rotation, the device (1) comprising: - a linear guide (4) and an angular guide (4) of the gripping tool, the guides being capable of travelling along a central beam (3) and rotating around a cylindrical beam (3), respectively - linear (7) and angular (8) position sensors of the gripping tool (2), - a limit stop for the translational movement (11) of the gripping tool, and - a motor (12) connected to the central beam (3). The invention also relates to a vehicle provided with such a device and to a method for controlling the speed and direction of the vehicle using such a device.
