[origin: WO2020200638A1] The invention relates to an apparatus for marking electric devices (2) which can be lined up next to one another and are situated on a support rail (1), the apparatus having a receptacle (12) for the support rail (1) and a laser head (21) for applying a marking to the electric devices (2). The apparatus is characterised in that the receptacle (12) is mounted pivotably about its longitudinal axis, and that the laser head (21) is guided displaceably in at least one longitudinal direction running parallel to the longitudinal axis of the receptacle (12).
