[origin: WO2020194153A1] Packaging machine for the mechanical sealing of hermetic sealing containers, comprising: - positioning station (400), suitable to stably constrain a portion of a lid (15) with the corresponding portion of an underlying tray (10), by means of a positioning device (450) constituted by a plunger (420) and a lid (15) carrier suction cup (410) tilted with respect to the upper edge (11) of the corresponding tray (10), closing station (500), suitable to complete the engagement between said lids (15) and said containers (10) by means of a plurality of cylindrical rollers (510), adapted to press said lids (15) downward with a predetermined and adjustable pressure, in a progressive and gradual manner, starting from the end already constrained in the preceding positioning station (400), up to reaching the opposite end.
