[origin: WO2020200971A1] The invention relates to a package for products of the tobacco industry, comprising: an outer package (11), which has a holding space for holding package contents (14); and a collar (16), which is arranged in the outer package (11), wherein: at least one dimension of the holding space is greater than the corresponding dimension of the package contents (14); and at least one material deformation (23) formed on the collar (16) serves to compensate said at least one dimension. According to the invention, the collar (16) has at least one additional tab (24), which is folded relative to another wall (18) of the collar (16) having at least one material deformation (23) in such a way that the at least one additional tab serves to compensate the at least one dimension together with the at least one material deformation (23).
