The hinge is distinguished by the fact that the housing (111) of the first hinge part (11) is widened in a front region, in which an opening for the lever mechanism (13) is situated, in relation to a rear region, wherein, in a closed position of the hinge (10), at least part of the lever mechanism (13) occupies a space in the front widened region.
