Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2020193821A1] The invention relates to a capping device (1) intended to be fixed on the neck (2) of a container for the purpose of blocking an orifice (5) in said neck (2), the capping device including: - a lower ring (3) including a first sector (15) intended to be axially held at the neck (2) and a second sector (16); - a cap (4); and - an articulation device (6) that connects the cap (4) to the second sector (16) of the lower ring (3); - the first sector (15) and the second sector (16) of the lower ring (3) being articulatedly linked together in such a way that the second sector (16) pivots with regard to the first sector (15) from a lowered position to a raised position in order to enable the cap (4) to move axially away from the neck (2) from the locked position to a free position where said cap (4) is no longer attached to the neck (2) of the container; the articulation device (6) being configured in order to enable the cap (4) to pivot between said free position and an open, folded position where the cap (4) is removed from the orifice (5) of the neck (2).
