[origin: WO2021058821A1] The invention relates to a method for producing a multi-layer filter medium, comprising at least the following production steps: providing a woven fabric layer (12) having passage points (24) for fluid; providing a nonwoven fabric layer consisting of a spunbond (18) and having additional passage points (28) for fluid; and connecting the two layers (12, 18), which have been laid on top of one another, along contact points (30) by melting the nonwoven fabric layer (18) in such a way that the additional passage points (28) become enlarged and at least some of the melted spunbond material flows to the contact points and accumulates there, subsequently forming curing solid connection points between the two layers (12, 18).
