[origin: CA3136152A1] The invention relates to a fixed, portable or movable hybrid muscular/electric drive system comprising a converter (1) for converting muscular energy into rotary energy coupled to a kinematic chain comprising an electric generator (5) and a flywheel (4), said generator (5) supplying current to an energy management circuit (8) controlling the recharging of an electric storage means (9) and powering an electric motor (7). Said muscular energy converter (1) also drives a second electric generator (3) with less power than said main electric generator (5) supplying electric current to said energy management circuit (8) for enabling degraded operation of said system.
