[origin: WO2020212888A1] A strapping station (10) comprises a strapping unit (11) which is provided with a rectangular frame (14) intended to be passed through by an object on which a strap (40) is to be applied when the strapping unit (11) is in its operative position. Along one side of the frame (14) there is a strapping head (15) for forming a strap ring along the frame (14) and for tightening it around the object to be strapped. The strapping unit (1) is suspended from an arm (20) which protrudes from a support (21) to which the arm is rotatably constrained in a cantilevered manner about a vertical axis (22) so that it may be moved away from the said operative position.
