[origin: WO2020212493A1] The invention relates to a separating apparatus for pipette tips (5), each having a longitudinal axis (LP), said apparatus comprising a feed device (15) for feeding pipette tips (5), a dispensing device (17) for dispensing pipette tips (5), a separating device (16) arranged between the feed device (15) and the dispensing device (17) and having a transport shaft (1) which is rotatably mounted about a longitudinal axis (L), and a retaining element (4), arranged spaced apart from the transport shaft (1), for retaining the pipette tips (5), wherein the transport shaft (1) has, at least in regions, a thread (2), by means of which thread the pipette tips (5) are movable in an intermediate space (Z) between the transport shaft (1) and the retaining element (4) along the longitudinal axis (L) of the transport shaft (1), wherein the longitudinal axes (LP) of the pipette tips (5) are arranged substantially perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis (L) of the transport shaft (1) during movement, and wherein the transport shaft (1) has a transfer region (6) for transferring the pipette tips (5) from the feed device (15), wherein the thread (2) has a first thread pitch (s1) in the transfer region (6), wherein the transport shaft (1) has an acceleration region (7) arranged after the transfer region (6), wherein the thread (2) has a second thread pitch (s2) in the acceleration region (7) which is greater than the first thread pitch (s1).
