Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2020229732A1] The present invention relates to the fields of treating lignocellulosic material. Specifically, the invention relates to a method of fractionating a lignocellulosic material, wherein said method comprises contacting a lignocellulosic material with a specific composition to obtain a liquid fraction comprising said specific composition and dissolved compounds from the lignocellulosic material, and a solid fraction, and bleaching the solid fraction. Also, the invention concerns a hemicellulose, cellulose or lignin product, or any combination thereof, obtained by the method of the present invention.
