[origin: WO2020221471A1] The present invention relates to a protective device for a tool apparatus. The tool device can more particularly be a hand-held, battery-powered apparatus such as a cutting grinder. In a main region, the tool apparatus preferably has main components, such as a motor, transmission and accumulators, which are effectively protected by the protective device against mechanical damage, for example in the event of a fall. Furthermore, the protective device prevents vibration being transferred from the tool apparatus to the user. In a second aspect, the invention relates to a system comprising a protective device and a tool apparatus.
