[origin: WO2021004875A1] The invention relates to a closure (10) for a window, a door, or the like. The window, the door, or the like has a frame and a leaf which can be moved relative to the frame. The closure (10) comprises a main part (12) which is designed to be secured to the frame or to the leaf; a closure element (14) which is rotatably mounted on the main part (12) and which defines a retaining seat (16) for a latch element secured to the leaf or to the frame and can be moved between a release position that releases the latch element in an opening direction (R) of the leaf and a blocking position that blocks the latch element in the opening direction (R); and a latch slide (21) which is guided in the main part (12) such that it can be moved between a locking position and an unlocking position and which is biased by at least one spring in the direction of the locking position; wherein in the locking position, the latch slide (21) prevents the closure element (14) from moving out of the blocking position into the release position, and in the unlocking position, the latch slide allows the closure element (14) to move between the blocking position and the release position; and between the locking position and the unlocking position the latch slide (21) has a daytime position, in which the latch slide can be deflected in the direction of the unlocking position as a result of a movement of the closure element (14) between the blocking position and the release position, thereby overcoming the spring force of the spring.
