[origin: WO2020224966A1] A domestic appliance (1) comprises: a treatment chamber having a loading opening that can be closed by means of a door (4) which can be pivoted via door hinges (2), which door (4) comprises at least one electrical load; and at least one energy transmission device (5), which has a primary side (8) that comprises at least one primary coil (10), and a secondary side (9) that comprises at least one secondary coil (12); wherein: the secondary side (9) is arranged on the door (4) and is electrically connected to the at least one load; the primary coil (10) can be coupled in the manner of a transformer to the secondary coil (12), at least when the door (4) is closed; and the primary side (8) is attached to a stationary part of a corresponding door hinge (2). The invention can be advantageously applied in particular to domestic cooking appliances such as ovens and/or microwave ovens.
