[origin: WO2020224916A1] A surface trim element (100) for producing an acoustic attenuation comprising a structure made of a deformable sheet which is designed to be inserted between a base wall (101) which can become locally concave or convex, and a flexible superficial wall (102). The sheet structure has an orthotropic direction which is oriented perpendicular to the sheet structure, and which is associated with a shearing resistance value that is lower than its other orthotropic directions. The sheet structure may be made up of rigid segments (4, 5) that connect base pads (1) to be fixed to the base wall or sliding superficial pads (2) to be fixed onto the superficial wall. Some of the segments are connected to one another and to the superficial pads by rotary connections (R1, R2).
