Abstract (en)
Embodiments of the present application provide a method and apparatus for controlling the quality of service (QoS) of a sidelink communication, a medium, and an electronic device. The method for controlling the QoS of the sidelink communication comprises: obtaining QoS information set by an application function entity for a sidelink; if it is determined, according to the QoS information, that the application function entity sets a flow-based QoS model for the sidelink, establishing a PDU session for the sidelink, and generating a flow-based QoS parameter of the sidelink according to the QoS information; and configuring the flow-based QoS parameter of the sidelink to an access network entity and a terminal device so as to control the QoS by which the terminal device performs the sidelink communication. The technical solution of the embodiments of the present application can achieve a flow-based QoS mechanism on the sidelink, thereby effectively improving the effectiveness and reliability of the sidelink communication, and meeting the service demand thereof.
