Abstract (en)

[origin: CA3145755A1] The invention relates to a circuit breaker (12), in particular of a power breaker (10), comprising a busbar (32) which is mounted so as to be movable between a closed position (84) and an open position (80); a trip device (16); a hand lever (66) which can be moved between a first position (70) and a second position (82); and a mechanism (24). The busbar (32), the trip device (16) and the hand lever (66) are coupled by means of the mechanism (24) in such a way that, when the hand lever (66) is moved from the first position (70) into the second position (82), the busbar (32) is moved from the open position (80) into the closed position (84). Upon tripping of the trip device (16), the busbar (32) is moved from the closed position (84) into the open position (80), and the hand lever (66) is moved from the second position (82) into the first position (70), if it is not blocked. When the hand lever (66) is moved from the second position (82) into the first position (70), the busbar (32) is moved from the closed position (84) into the open position (80) regardless of whether the busbar (32) is blocked in the closed position (84).
