Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2020228966A1] Techniques for grouping terminal devices of a communication network into one or more device groups based on network data analytics, NWDA, information shared by the terminal devices in each group is provided. An apparatus realization of this technique is adapted to obtain, for a terminal device having a device identifier, NWDA information gathered in the communication network for the terminal device and to determine, based on the obtained NWDA information, that the terminal device belongs to a group of terminal devices that is associated with the NWDA information, wherein the group of terminal devices has a group identifier. The apparatus is further configured to send a notification message comprising the device identifier and the group identifier.
