Erfindungsgemäß weist die Vorrichtung (1) eine Konturerfassungseinrichtung (4) auf, welche dazu geeignet und bestimmt ist, eine Kontur des zu befüllenden Behältnisses (10) zu bestimmen sowie eine Ermittlungseinrichtung (6), welche unter Berücksichtigung der Kontur des Behältnisses (10) ein Innenvolumen des Behältnisses (10) erfasst.
