Abstract (en)

The present disclosure relates to a floor gully assembly 1 a floor gully 2 and a water trap 3 comprising a water seal, the floor gully 2 and the water trap 3 each extending in a vertical direction y and in a lateral direction x, as seen when being in an intended mounted position, the floor gully 2 comprising a gully inlet opening 4 arranged at a gully top 5, a gully side wall 6 and a gully bottom 7, the gully sidewall 6 and the gully bottom 7 defining a gully inner compartment 8, a gully outlet opening 9 is arranged in the gully side wall 6, the gully inner compartment 8 comprising a water trap receiving portion 10 adapted for receiving the water trap 3, the water trap receiving portion 10 being in fluid connection with the gully outlet opening 9, the water trap 3 being adapted to form a seal between the gully inner compartment 8 and the gully outlet opening 9 allowing water flow from the inner compartment 8 to the gully outlet opening 9 only via the water trap 3 wherein the water trap receiving portion 10 is arranged offset, as seen in the lateral direction x, with respect to the gully inlet opening 4. This present disclosure further relates to a method for assembling a floor gully assembly 1.
