Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2020233911A1] The invention relates to a furniture element (1, 110), in particular a shelf or rack having at least one support plane, comprising a carcass (3, 130) and a bottom panel (2, 120). Mutually facing support surfaces (21, 31, 61, 121) of the carcass (3, 130) or a support panel (61, 161) attached to an underside of the carcass (3, 130) and the bottom panel (2, 120) each have at least one groove (22, 62, 122, 162) in which rolling elements (51, 151) are guided. The carcass (3, 130) is movable relative to the bottom panel (2, 120) from a starting position into an intermediate position and further into an open position and back. In the intermediate position, the carcass (3, 130) is rotated in a direction of rotation (R1, R2) relative to the bottom panel (2, 120) and is displaced in a predetermined direction (A). An opening and/or closing mechanism with a force accumulator (9, 140) assisting an opening and/or closing movement of the carcass (3, 130) is arranged on a surface of the bottom panel (2, 120) facing away from the carcass (3, 130).
