[origin: WO2020234536A1] A gripping clamp (200) comprises a casing (202) which defines, internally, the chamber (210) of a cylinder (216), this casing (202) comprising a lid (208) which closes access to the interior thereof, and gripping members (204), each subjected to a displacement with respect to the casing (202) under the effect of the cylinder (216). The casing (202) further comprises a metal sleeve (212) which forms the lateral wall (231) of the chamber (210) of the cylinder (216), and a body (206), at least partially made of composite material, which tightly surrounds the sleeve (212) so as to form a rigid assembly with the sleeve (212) and the lid (208).
