[origin: WO2020232481A1] The invention relates to an upper housing (1) for a firearm, comprising a supporting part (2). The supporting part supports a barrel bush (4) for holding a barrel, a guide (6) for a longitudinally movable breechblock carrier (7), and an anchoring (8) for a sight device. The guide (6) for the breechblock carrier (7) is formed of a metal on the lower side of a rail block (5), which rail block provides, on its upper side, the anchoring (8) for the sight device. The supporting part (2) is produced of metal and is screwed, on one side, to the barrel bush (4) and, on the other side, to the rail block (5).
