[origin: WO2020234058A1] In order to improve a test adapter (10) for testing the electrical function of devices under test (30) - comprising a housing (12) and at least one test contact unit (22) arranged in the housing and for contacting at least one contact (32) of a device under test in the course of the testing process, a line (42, 52) arranged in the housing and extending from the at least one test contact unit to a connection (44, 54) provided on the housing, at least one sensor (62,66,82,92,102) arranged on or in the test adapter (10), and a data detection unit (72) for detecting values of the sensor - in such a way that the checking of the device under test detects adversely affecting states and these are in particular thereby avoided, it is proposed that a state detection unit (76) is assigned to the test adapter and detects the values from the at least one sensor detected by the data detection unit and determines operating state information by analyzing said values.
