[origin: WO2020233739A1] The invention relates to an electric machine (1) for driving a motor vehicle, comprising a rotor (2), wherein the rotor (2) has a central rotor shaft (3) and a laminated core (5) which is made of multiple rotor laminations (4) and is fixed to the rotor shaft (3), and the laminated core (5) is contacted on at least one axial side (6a) by an end lamination (7a) which produces a tolerance compensation, said end lamination (7a) being supported by a securing ring (8) pressed onto the rotor shaft (3).
