[origin: WO2020239832A1] A user device (120) comprising a camera (123), a display (124) and a control unit (121) is described. The control unit (121) is configured to capture image data of a gas hob (110) and/or cookware (220) used in conjunction with the gas hob (110) using the camera (123). Furthermore, the control unit (121) is configured to determine enhancement information regarding operation of the gas hob (110). In addition, the control unit (121) is configured to render a mixed reality image on the display (124). The mixed reality image comprises a base image (210, 230) of the gas hob (110) and/or the cookware (220) and an enhancement image (211, 212, 213, 231) overlaid with the base image (210, 230), wherein the enhancement image (211, 212, 213, 231) is indicative of the enhancement information.
