[origin: WO2020245141A1] The invention relates to an apparatus (1) for evening out the binding point line (BP) when weaving terry fabric, having a fabric support table (5) and a displacement device (10) for periodically displacing the fabric support table (5) in and counter to the weaving direction (W) in order to create loops, wherein spreaders (7) that are conjointly movable with the displacement device (10) are arranged in lateral peripheral regions of the fabric (G) behind the binding point line (BP) in the weaving direction. The apparatus according to the invention is characterized in that behind each spreader (7), in the weaving direction, there is arranged in each case a pulling device (30), which is movable relative to the displacement device (10), for pulling the fabric portion (GA) guided by the particular spreader (7) through the spreader (7) when the displacement device (10) is displaced in the weaving direction (W). The invention also relates to a weaving machine, in particular a terry weaving machine, having such an apparatus (1).
