Abstract (en)

[origin: EP3982239A1] A photographing method is disclosed. The method is applied to an electronic device, and a camera application is installed on the electronic device. The method includes: receiving a pressing operation performed by a user on a photographing control of the camera application; and determining, based on both an age of the user and pressing duration of the pressing operation, whether to shoot one photo or continuously shoot a plurality of photos. In the method, whether the pressing operation entered by the user is a long press or a short press may be determined based on the age of the user and the pressing duration of the pressing operation, so that an intention of the user is correctly recognized, and a misoperation is avoided.
