[origin: WO2020249756A1] The present invention relates to fusion proteins based on antigenic polypeptides from Mycobacterium tuberculosis for preventing, inhibiting or treating infections and/or disease caused by a species of the tuberculosis complex. In particular, the present invention relates to fusion proteins comprising antigens that do not prime an immune response against BCG and/or ESAT-6 repeats. The fusion proteins may comprise a combination of early and late antigens. Further, the present invention relates to vaccines, immunogenic compositions and pharmaceutical compositions comprising the fusion proteins.
