[origin: US2022123514A1] The invention relates to crimping pliers wherein a die comprises two die half units. The die half units each comprise a die half and a bearing body. The bearing body is supported in an associated bearing accommodation of a pliers jaw. The die halves are supported by a rotational bearing for being rotated about a crimping axis relative to the bearing body.According to the invention it is possible to assemble and disassemble the bearing body of the die half unit to and from the bearing accommodation of the pliers jaw without the use of any tool. It is also possible that a latching or locking device is used for the assembly.
