[origin: WO2020257810A1] A universal elastic smoking implement (100, 200, 380) is designed to retain a partially inserted smoke filter (150) on one end and one of a cigarette, a cigar, a smoke pipe, or another smoking device (160) on the other end thereof. A screen (130) is provided in the internal central region of the smoking implement (100, 200, 380) to retain large burning particles as well as to act as a mechanical stop for positioning of such smoke filters (150) or smoking devices (160) inside the smoking implement (100, 200, 380). Either the mouthpiece end (110, 210) and/of the opposite smoking end (120, 220) of the smoking implement (100, 200, 380) may have two or more internal stages of stepped up sizes so as to reduce the overall length of the implement while accommodating a broader range of insert sizes. Also provided is a carrying case (300) for use with the elastic smoking implement (100, 200, 380) positioned between a tubular housing (310) and a tubular cover (340). This makes it convenient to store and seal a tubular carrying case (300) with smoking material between smoking sessions.
