[origin: WO2020254118A1] The present invention relates to a device and a method for handling harness elements. A first retaining element is designed to be moved cyclically between a provision device and a receiving device. The first retaining element is arranged on a carrier device. According to the invention, an ejection element is also arranged on the carrier device for ejecting a harness element off the retaining element onto a sub-device of the receiving device. The first retaining element is preferably designed to execute its cyclical movement in a plane to which an axis is perpendicular.
