[origin: WO2020260586A1] The invention relates to a device (1) for discharging a substance (2). A device housing (3) is equipped with a movable support (7) in order to act on the substance (2), and additionally a rotary handle (4) is provided in order to move the support (7) between a lower starting position and an upper extended position of the support (7), said rotary handle forming a spindle part (15) together with a spindle (14) which can be rotated about a longitudinal axis (x) provided in the movement direction (r) of the support (7). The spindle part (15) passes through a housing base (16), and the spindle part is locked to the housing base (16) and is sealed. Additionally, a locking protrusion (28) of the housing base (16) engages into a locking recess (29) of the spindle part (15), and a seal protrusion (37) running from the housing base (16) sealingly rests against a circumferential surface (36) of the spindle part (15), wherein the rotary handle (4) of the spindle part (15) is additionally formed on the lower face of the device housing (3). The aim of the invention is to advantageously develop a device (1) of the aforementioned type. This is achieved in that when viewed from the rotary handle (4), the locking recess (29) of the spindle part (15) is formed axially below the circumferential surface (36) which interacts with the seal protrusion (37). The aim of the invention can also be solved in that the seal protrusion (37) is formed on a sleeve section (41) of the device housing (3), and a sleeve section (41) seal edge (47) which is free on the lower face is sealingly surrounded by the spindle part (15) in a U-shaped manner in the interior in any case.
