[origin: WO2020259956A1] In order to dialogue from a first on-board bus in a vehicle, with a first computer connected to a second on-board bus, connected to the first bus by a second computer, with a main command being processed intended for the first computer, the method comprises steps in which: - a third computer connected to the first on-board bus generates (102) a command to write a description of the main command in a first dedicated zone of the second computer, then transmits (104) the write command to the second computer when the second computer is detected (103) as ready to respond to the write command; - the second computer transmits (114), to the first computer, one or more auxiliary commands to respond to the main command after receiving (111) the write command; - the first computer transmits (122) a response to each received auxiliary command (121) that the second computer stores (116) in a second dedicated zone; - the third computer transmits (108) a command to read the second dedicated zone, to the second computer, when the second computer is detected (107) as ready to respond to the read command, such that the second computer transmits (124) a response to the received read command (119); - the third computer responds (126) to the main command upon receipt (109) of a response to the command to read the second zone of the second computer.
