Abstract (en)
An aerosol generating device (10) comprises: a liquid transfer element (40) including an opening portion (42) configured to open a cartridge (12) containing an aerosol generating liquid; and an inductively heatable susceptor (50) in contact with the liquid transfer element (40). The liquid transfer element (40) is configured to convey aerosol generating liquid from the opened cartridge (12) towards the inductively heatable susceptor (50). An aerosol generating system (1) is also described comprising the aerosol generating device (10) and a cartridge (12) containing an aerosol generating liquid releasably connected to the aerosol generating device (10).
