Ein elektrisches Anschlusselement zur formschlüssigen oder schweißtechnischen Anbringung an ein Blechteil und zur Aufnahme einer Kabelanschlusseinrichtung, zeichnet sich durch einen metallischen Ring, der den Kontaktbereich umgibt und mittels einer in dem Ring erzeugten permanenten Ringspannung eng am Kontaktbereich anliegt, aus. Der Ring weist eine äußere Fläche auf, die die Kontaktfläche für die Kabelanschlusseinrichtung bildet.
