Abstract (en)
An exhalation valve for a respiratory protective facial device is described, comprising a valve body, a cover which covers the exhalation valve on the outside and an impermeable membrane positioned between valve body and cover. The valve cover comprises an internal section comprising first openings and an external section comprising second openings. The internal section and the external section are movable relative to each other between a first position in which the first and second openings are mutually aligned so as to form a passage for the outgoing air flow, and a second position in which the first and second openings are offset with respect to each other so that the cover is closed. The second openings are in the shape of right-angled circular sectors. The cover also comprises stop means which keep the cover in the first position and in the second position.
