Abstract (en)

[origin: EP3996337A1] This application provides a traffic transmission method and apparatus. The traffic transmission method in this application includes: determining scheduling times of head traffic packets of at least two of N transmission queues, where N is a positive integer greater than or equal to 2; obtaining priorities of the at least two transmission queues and data packet sizes of the head traffic packets of the at least two transmission queues; determining a head traffic packet of one of the at least two transmission queues as a first traffic packet based on the scheduling times, the priorities, and the data packet sizes; and transmitting the first traffic packet. In this application, a transmission sequence of traffic packets may be optimized to reduce a transmission waiting delay of the traffic packets and ensure QoS requirements such as a forwarding delay or jitter of traffic. This application may be applied to a vehicle, especially an intelligent vehicle, and may be applied to another similar communications field or application scenario that is not related to the internet of vehicles.
