[origin: WO2021004836A1] The invention relates to a unit for a coffee device, comprising a container module (M) which has a coffee-bean container (1), a portioning means (2) and a mechanical grinding-degree adjuster (3). An adjustment position of the grinding-degree adjuster (3) brings about a first rotational movement of an adjustment means (43) of the unit about a vertical first rotational axis (A1) for the purpose of adjusting the grinding degree of a grinding mechanism (6) of the coffee device. The unit also comprises a mechanical transfer means (8) for transferring the first rotational movement of the adjustment means (43) into a second rotational movement of a grinding-gap changing means (60) of the grinding mechanism (6) about a second rotational axis (A2) which deviates from the horizontal. This unit allows the use of a replaceable container module which comprises a grinding-degree adjuster, in particular having cone mills.
