Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2021063558A1] The invention relates to a non-railborne, electrically or hybrid-electrically driven vehicle (2) comprising a current collector (1) for supplying power from a two-pole overhead contact line system having one contact wire (11P, 11N) per contact pole. The current collector (1) comprises at least one contact strip (10) per contact pole for contacting the contact wire (11P, 11N) assigned to the respective contact pole. The current collector (1) also comprises an erectable frame with a fixed end (6) on which it is supported on the vehicle (2) such that it can rotate about a vehicle transverse axis (7), and with a free end (8) which supports the contact strip (10). The current collector (1) further comprises a lift drive (12) for erecting the frame, whereby the contact strips (10) can be lifted perpendicular to the vehicle transverse axis (7). If the current collector (1) comprises control means for reducing the difference between the contact pressures of the two contact poles, with which the contact strips (10) are pressed on the respective contact wires (11P, 11N), at varying distances (13P, 13N) of the contact wires (11P, 11N) from the vehicle transverse axis (7), then a vehicle (2) can be provided in which power supply via the current collector (1) can be guaranteed, even in varying contact wire positions.
