[origin: WO2021013631A1] A method for providing a recipe having cooking steps for preparing a predetermined dish comprises the steps: determining at least one component category which is associated with the dish; determining selectable components for each of the component categories, wherein a component is associated with a component category and describes at least one cooking step, and a cooking step describes the processing at least of one ingredient for preparing the dish; recording a selection of a component for each of the component categories of the dish; and providing the recipe on the basis of the cooking steps comprised of the selected components.
