[origin: WO2021013362A1] The invention relates to a cable drum installation (1) for a cable crane, comprising a mount (2), a pulling cable drum (3) and an auxiliary cable drum (4), wherein the pulling cable drum (3) comprises a pulling cable motor (6) connected to a mount (2) and the auxiliary cable drum (4) comprises an auxiliary cable motor (9) mounted on the pulling cable drum (3), said auxiliary cable motor (9) being configured to transmit a torque between the pulling cable drum (3) and the auxiliary cable drum (4), wherein the auxiliary cable drum (4) is mounted so as to be rotatable with respect to the mount (2) in a first operating state and is connected to the mount (2) for conjoint rotation in a second operating state, such that, in the second operating state, the pulling cable drum (3) is drivable by means of the auxiliary cable motor (9).
