[origin: WO2022022779A1] The invention relates to a locking system (10) for locking a closure element, more particularly a door, having a main body (3), which rotatably receives an actuation element (5), for arrangement on one side of the closure element and having a locking module (1) for arrangement on the opposite side of the closure element, wherein: the actuation element (5) has an interface (6) for connection to the locking module (1); the main body (3) has a fixed interface (4) for connection to the locking module; and depending on the type of locking module (1), same can only be connected to the co-rotating interface (6) or to both interfaces (4, 6). The invention also relates to a closure element having such a locking system (10), and a method for assembling a locking system (10).
