[origin: WO2021027979A1] The object we are claiming to have invented is a chair or stool to facilitate saxophone playing, comprising: a central column (6), a rotatable and height adjustable seat (4) for supporting a person attached at the top of the central column, at least 3 foldable legs (11) arranged to support the central column, an adjustable support arm (8) attached to the central column, an adjustable mounting cup (7.0) configured to hold a saxophone, a backrest shaft (3) protruding from the underside of the seat, and a backrest (1) attached to the backrest shaft. The purpose of the invention is to help alleviate the long term effects of playing the saxophone for extended periods of time. It facilitates playing of the saxophone due to the reduced weight and strain on the neck. The seat and arm and cup are all adjustable to allow the player to sit with correct posture with the saxophone either in front of them or to the side.
