[origin: WO2021026126A1] A user interface for determining a setting of a hearing instrument is disclosed. The user interface allows a user to configure a hearing instrument using control indicators and markers that may he manipulated. The hearing instruments may reference a mapping that links marker values to hearing thresholds with respect to particular frequency bands. Processors of the hearing instruments or of computing devices paired to a hearing instrument may use the hearing thresholds of a user identified across multiple frequency bands to determine a setting for configuring the hearing instruments.
