[origin: WO2021028586A1] Monolithic sole for a road cycling shoe with a front cleat and a rear cleat suitable for cooperating with an automatic pedal. The monolithic sole comprises, on its bottom face, a front cavity (6) and a rear cavity (7) located respectively in the front and rear of the zone of contact (9) with the pedal and substantially in the middle of the width of the sole (2). The rear cavity (7) opens onto the inner side of the sole (2). The front and rear cleats (4, 5) are placed respectively within the front and rear cavities (6, 7) such that they do not project from the sole (2), thus allowing the user to walk easily without the cleats causing discomfort, unlike conventional road cycling shoes equipped with standard cleats.
