[origin: WO2021028286A1] The invention relates to a vascular prosthesis (10; 100) for a blood vessel of a patient, comprising the following: a hollow-cylindrical main part (11) including a prosthesis material (12), and having a longitudinal axis (L) and a stent frame (13), the main part (11) having a proximal (14a) and a distal (15a) opening at a proximal (14) and a distal (15) end, respectively. The vascular prosthesis (10; 100), at least at one end (14, 15), comprises a first terminal stent ring (22) connected to the prosthesis material (12). At least one thread element (30; 30a, 30b) is fastened to the vascular prosthesis (10; 100), the at least one thread element (30; 30a, 30b) reducing the diameter of the respective distal or proximal opening when pulled.
