Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2021030851A1] The invention relates to a method for producing transfer paper for dye sublimation printing processes, a transfer paper for dye sublimation printing processes, and a method for printing on textiles. The method for producing transfer paper comprises a method step for coating at least one surface of a paper web by applying an aqueous solution of a cationically modified starch, which has a degree of substitution by cationic groups of 0.03-0.6 mol/mol, and a method step for postdrying the coated paper web. The transfer paper has a paper substrate, at least one surface of said paper substrate being provided with a coating which consists at least predominantly of a cationically modified starch having a degree of substitution by cationic groups of 0.03-0.6 mol/mol.
