Abstract (en)
[origin: CN114645346A] In a method for operating a semi-automatic or full-automatic spinning machine, in particular a free-end rotor spinning machine, the spinning machine has a plurality of at least partially self-sufficient work stations of the same type arranged next to one another, wherein each workstation has a spinning device for producing a yarn and a winding device for winding the yarn onto a bobbin, the workstations being divided into a plurality of production groups. A plurality of work stations for manufacturing the same yarn batch respectively form a production group. When the end of the batch is reached at one of the work stations, the related work station is made stationary. In order to perform a batch change at the relevant work station, the work station can be optionally operated in a ready mode in which batch data of a new yarn batch is first assigned to the work station and automatic joining of the work station is prevented, or in a normal mode in which batch data of the new yarn batch is first assigned to the work station. Wherein in the normal mode, batch data of a new yarn batch is assigned to the work station and the work station automatically splices.
