[origin: WO2021037731A1] Blade, in particular knife blade (1), having two blade sides (2, 3), a blade spine (4) and a blade cutting edge (5). The blade or knife blade is in the form of a corrugated blade. Arranged on both blade sides, along at least 60% of the length of the blade, are a multiplicity of waves (6) having wave peaks (7) and wave troughs (8). The waves extend transversely, in particular perpendicularly, to the longitudinal direction of the blade and/or in the form of a circle segment along at least 80% of the height of the blade. The blade is sharpened on one or both sides at least at the blade edge in such a way as to result in a cut angle a of 5° to 60°.
